SHIPPING/DOA Policy

Shipping Policy

Dry stock and plants will be shipped via your choice of carrier (USPS or UPS). Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Currently, we are only shipping to the continental United States.  

Livestock is shipped overnight via UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air. You must choose this option at checkout if you have fish in your order. If you place an order containing fish and you do not choose UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air, your order will not be processed until we contact you to adjust the shipping totals.

Fish will be bagged according to our discretion for the safety and well-being of the fish.

DOA Policy

We ship livestock Mondays through Wednesdays with the exception of holidays.

Orders placed after 5:00 pm Tuesday will be shipped the following Monday, to allow 24 hours for the fish to be prepared for shipping.

In the rare occurrence of a DOA, we require three clear photos of the DOAs in the unopened bag within one hour of delivery time.

Refunds/partial refunds will be made if fish arrive DOA as long as photos are provided. We do not replace shipping costs. We do not provide replacement fish.

Any shipment routing changes on the part of the customer, will void our DOA Policy.

Extreme Weather

Low or high temperatures in parts of the country may affect shipping times. We will monitor the temperatures in relevant areas to determine safety of shipping. We reserve the right to hold an order if we determine temperature or weather is not suitable for the safety of the livestock.
